The Republican candidate for Ohio Auditor of State, Keith Faber, will speak at the Akron Press Club Tuesday, February 20, at the Tangier in Akron. There will be the opportunity for questions from the audience. This event is co-sponsored with The University of Akron’s Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics and the City Club of Cleveland. Faber currently represents Ohio’s 84th District in the Ohio House of Representatives. Faber previously served eight years in the Ohio Senate, where he was Senate president from 2013-2016. Faber is the principal partner with Faber and Associates in Celina, a law firm specializing in civil litigation and mediation, helping courts and parties resolve matters without trial. Faber earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University in 1991. He completed his undergraduate studies in public administration/policy with a minor in biology, graduating with honors from Oakland University in Michigan in 1988. He holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Toledo. Faber belongs to several different Chambers of Commerce and Farm Bureaus, the Ohio Right to Life, and the National Rifle Association.
