September 5 - State of the University with University of Akron President R.J. Nemer
September 18 – Steve Herman, author of “Behind the White House Curtain.” This event is co-sponsored by the University of Akron Bliss Institute of Applied Politics.
October 2 – Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro, State of the County speech.
October 30 – Akron Public Schools Superintendent Dr. C. Michael Robinson Jr., State of the System speech.
